Adonation to The Rotary Investment Fund will be invested – and not turned into a grant immediately and spent.
Donations are 100% invested. The return on donations and the invested capital is used for grants.
The ongoing expenses are covered by membership fees.
We partner with professional investors to maximize profit and value creation globally.
Sharing earnings with carefully chosen projects that meet Rotary’s high standards.

Current focus area
Rotary Investment Fund seeks to inspire and recognise young people who make a positive difference in the lives of others.
We have chosen to support upper-secondary school students and award a scholarship to those pupils who best meet our criteria for being a good friend. By supporting a good friend, we do not merely support one individual student. We send a message to an entire year group: that it matters to take responsibility, show consideration for others, and strengthen the sense of community.
The initiative is intended to continue and to be extended to additional upper-secondary schools.
Previously supported areas
Previous areas of support have included development assistance, for example the projects Drinking Water for Kitogani, Zanzibar and Supporting the Schooling of Vulnerable Children in Sri Lanka, as well as the End Polio Now initiative.
